The ideal candidate will create a positive, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for children, focusing on their cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that focus on foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy, and basic concepts.
Use play-based and activity-based learning methodologies to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Foster creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning among children.
Child Development:
Promote the overall development of children, including social, emotional, and physical growth.
Identify and address the individual needs of each child, ensuring personalized attention.
Encourage good habits such as hygiene, discipline, and manners.
Classroom Management:
Create a safe, inclusive, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Manage the daily routine, including snack time, playtime, and other activities.
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
Parental Communication:
Regularly communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, achievements, and areas of improvement.
Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive feedback.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain attendance records, lesson plans, and student performance reports.
Prepare and organize teaching aids, props, and materials for activities.
Participate in school events, workshops, and training programs.
Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute activities, events, and performances.
Collaborate with support staff to ensure the well-being of children.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Training, or a related field.
Prior experience as a Pre-Primary Teacher is preferred.
Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
Knowledge of child psychology and development milestones.
