Job Description

1. Teaching and Learning

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. Use play-based and activity-based learning methods to make lessons enjoyable and effective. Introduce foundational literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning among children.

2. Classroom Management

Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment. Ensure classroom discipline through positive reinforcement and age-appropriate behavior management strategies. Organize and maintain learning materials, teaching aids, and classroom displays.

3. Child Development and Care

Observe, monitor, and document each child's progress and development. Identify children with learning difficulties or behavioral concerns and inform parents/administration for further support. Promote hygiene, safety, and good habits among children (e.g., eating, dressing, and personal care).

4. Parent Communication and Reporting

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and overall development. Conduct parent-teacher meetings and share feedback constructively. Prepare progress reports, portfolios, and records of students' achievements.

5. Collaboration and Planning

Work closely with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and maintain consistency across the curriculum. Participate in school events, celebrations, and co-curricular programs. Attend training programs and workshops for continuous professional development.

6. Administrative and Other Duties

Take attendance and maintain accurate student records. Ensure adherence to school policies and curriculum guidelines. Assist in organizing school events, excursions, and celebrations.

Pay: ?15,795.84 - ?20,017.98 per month
