Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.)

Diploma in Early Childhood Education (D.E.C.Ed.)

Higher Secondary Education (12th Grade) with a Specialization in Early Childhood Care:

Certifications:

First Aid and Child Safety Training

Montessori or Waldorf Certification (Optional)

Previous Teaching Experience:

Should Have Minimum 2 years experience in teaching young children (age 3-6) in a recognized preschool program.

Skills:

Child Development Knowledge:

A strong understanding of child development, including cognitive, emotional, and physical milestones, is crucial for pre-primary teachers.

Creativity and Adaptability:

Pre-primary teachers are expected to be creative in their approach to learning and adaptable to the varying needs and learning styles of young children.

Communication Skills:

Teachers must be able to communicate effectively with both children and parents, as well as other school staff.

Patience and Emotional Intelligence:

Since pre-primary children are still developing emotional and social skills, teachers need high levels of patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
