Job Description

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate storytelling, art, music, and play-based learning. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment to encourage children's curiosity and confidence. Introduce children to foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, and basic science. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Monitor and supervise children to ensure their safety both indoors and outdoors. Address challenging behaviors constructively, encouraging positive reinforcement and conflict resolution. Observe and document each child's progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Conduct informal assessments to gauge developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly. Engage in open communication with families to establish trust and support children's growth at home and school. Openly Communicate with parents and caregivers about children's development, behavior, and achievements. Work closely with other teachers, assistants, and school staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach. Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development to stay current with best practices. Prepare classroom materials and resources in advance to facilitate lessons and activities. Maintain student records and update them regularly according to school policies. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations specific to early childhood education. Encourage a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward learning and curiosity about the world.
