Experience Required:

5-10 years in Early Childhood Education or Pre-Primary Teaching/Administration

Educational Qualification:

Graduate/Postgraduate with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.

Job Summary:

The Academic Head - Pre-Primary is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the academic curriculum and teaching standards for the Pre-Primary section. The role involves managing faculty, ensuring curriculum effectiveness, driving child-centric learning, and maintaining high standards of teaching and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Planning & Implementation:

Develop and oversee the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with educational best practices. Monitor lesson plans and classroom delivery to ensure consistency and quality. Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and ensure effective execution.

Teacher Supervision & Training:

Guide and mentor Pre-Primary teachers in lesson planning, teaching strategies, and child engagement. Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback. Organize teacher training workshops and professional development programs.

Child Development & Wellbeing:

Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for early learners. Track and assess the developmental milestones of children and suggest interventions as needed. Collaborate with parents to address individual student needs and progress.

Administrative & Coordination Tasks:

Coordinate with school leadership on academic progress, staffing, and resource needs. Maintain accurate records of academic performance, attendance, and assessments. Lead parent-teacher meetings and orientation sessions for new admissions.
