Job Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and skilled

Prepress Designer

to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and verifying artwork for printing, ensuring high-quality output throughout the prepress process. This includes working closely with clients, managing plate/die creation, and ensuring accurate color and design reproduction during print production.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with clients to review and obtain approval for artwork before proceeding to production. Send approved artwork for plate and die making. Check the plate separations and approve them as per production standards. Inspect received plates and hand them over for printing. Evaluate color shades and print quality after the first print run to ensure they meet approved specifications. Collaborate with the design and print team to resolve any prepress or color-related issues.

Requirements:

Basic understanding of graphic design and color theory. Proficiency in design and prepress software such as

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

, and other related tools. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines. Prior experience in a prepress or print production environment is preferred.
