JOB DESCRIPTION:

Scope of work (Pre-Design team) :-

a. Study of enquiry along with technical specification, drawings, general technical particulars (GTP), quotation copy from marketing team.

b. Understand the requirement of the customer and present stage of the enquiry (i.e. budgetary, tender or purchase enquiry).

c. Check previously available data matching to the current requirement.

d. Identify the non-standard items/accessories for which rates are not available in the data bank.

e. Run the design in software for optimum design output.

f. Once the software design is finalised, prepare design in TPEPL format by transferring the details from software design.

g. After finalising the volume of capex items (i.e. CRGO, conductor, oil, tank, radiator), bill of quantity (BOQ) is prepared for costing.

h. Assign the rates with individual items. Identify the project location and reference standard (i.e. IS/IEC/IEEE/CS). Based on this identify the vendor and link the rates.

i. Taking a sum of all rates is RMC of the transformer. Apply different MSR on RMC and submit the cost sheet to marketing team.

j. For project orders, approach to purchase team for negotiated rates with the vendors.
