Job Overview:



We are looking for a talented

Pre-Sales & Solutions Engineer

to join our team. This dynamic role will combine your technical expertise with your customer-facing skills, where you will collaborate closely with the sales team to design and present tailored solutions to prospective clients, while also providing ongoing IT engineering support. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both pre-sales consultations and post-sales implementations, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:Pre-Sales Support:



Product Demonstrations & Presentations:

Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations of products and solutions to potential customers, showcasing how our offerings meet their specific needs.

Solution Design:

Collaborate with the sales team to create customized technical solutions, including system designs and configurations, ensuring the product fits client requirements.

Client Consultation:

Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and technical requirements, providing expert recommendations and solutions.

RFP/RFI Responses:

Assist in drafting detailed technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring all technical aspects are accurately addressed.

Proposal Support:

Provide technical input and advice for pre-sales proposals, including system specifications, architecture diagrams, and pricing models.

Proof of Concept (PoC) Support:

Manage PoC implementations, helping clients evaluate and validate solutions before purchase.

Solutions Engineering & Implementation:



System Setup & Configuration:

Work with clients to install, configure, and implement technical solutions as per agreed-upon specifications, ensuring seamless integration with their existing infrastructure.

Post-Sales Support:

Provide ongoing technical support during the implementation phase, addressing any questions or challenges that arise.

Troubleshooting:

Provide technical troubleshooting for issues related to product installation, system performance, or integration, escalating complex issues when necessary.

Training & Documentation:

Offer training and create user documentation to ensure clients understand how to operate and maintain the deployed solutions.

Collaboration:

Partner with the IT team to ensure the technical requirements of the product align with internal systems, infrastructure, and capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Experience:

2+ years in a pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical support role.

Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (networking, servers, storage, cloud technologies), as well as experience with relevant product solutions.

Customer-Focused:

Ability to interact effectively with clients, providing technical guidance and building strong relationships to help clients solve their business challenges.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and think creatively to develop practical solutions.

Project Management:

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:



Certifications:

IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus. Product-specific certifications or vendor-specific certifications related to solutions being offered.

Experience in Pre-Sales & Consulting:

Experience with solution design and delivering technical presentations during the sales process.

Networking & Cloud Knowledge:

Hands-on experience with networking solutions (Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

IT Tools & Ticketing Systems:

Experience with service desk software, IT management tools, or system monitoring platforms.
