Job Summary

The Pre-Primary / Preschool Teacher is responsible for nurturing and educating young children (typically ages 2.5 to 5 years) in a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment. The teacher will implement age-appropriate activities based on the Wellmont / preschool curriculum to support children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct engaging, play-based and activity-oriented lessons as per the Wellmont / preschool curriculum Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment for young learners Encourage social skills, communication, creativity, and self-confidence in children Use stories, rhymes, music, art, games, and hands-on activities for effective learning Observe, assess, and document each child's development and progress Maintain classroom discipline with positive reinforcement and care Ensure hygiene, safety, and well-being of children at all times Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress and behavior Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, and learning materials Participate in school events, celebrations, meetings, and training programs Follow school policies, child safety guidelines, and educational standards
Required Qualifications

Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Pre-Primary Education, Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), NTT, D.Ed., or equivalent Graduate preferred (any stream) Relevant teaching experience in preschool / kindergarten will be an advantage
Skills & Competencies

Passion for working with young children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm Ability to manage classroom activities effectively Basic knowledge of child psychology and early learning methods Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Work Experience

Freshers can apply 1-3 years of preschool teaching experience preferred
Working Conditions

Full-time / Part-time Classroom-based role in a preschool / pre-primary setup
