Job Description

Curriculum Planning:

Pre-primary teachers design age-appropriate lesson plans and curricula that align with educational standards and goals. They create activities and learning experiences that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Classroom Management:

They establish a positive and safe classroom environment where children can learn and explore. This involves setting rules, routines, and expectations, as well as managing behavior and resolving conflicts among students.

Teaching:

Pre-primary teachers use various teaching methods, including storytelling, play-based learning, arts and crafts, music, and movement, to engage children and teach them basic skills like counting, letter recognition, colors, and shapes.

Parent Communication:

Pre-primary teachers maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians. They provide regular updates on a child's progress, discuss any concerns, and collaborate with families to support a child's development at home.

Creativity and Play:

Pre-primary teachers encourage creativity and imaginative play, which are essential for a child's cognitive and emotional development. They create opportunities for children to explore and experiment with various materials and activities.
