Job Title: Pre-Finishing Head Department: Production Experience: Minimum 10+ Years Industry: FIBC Location: Rajpur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the pre-finishing stage of FIBC production, ensuring smooth coordination, high-quality output, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards. The candidate must have a strong background in Tape Line, Loom, and Lamination processes to support upstream quality control and production planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Planning:

Assist GM - Operations in daily production planning, particularly related to pre-finishing, with awareness of upstream constraints in tape line, loom, and lamination. Coordinate with stores, lamination, printing, stitching, and dispatch departments for efficient material flow. Ensure pre-finishing activities comply with internal SOPs and customer requirements.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize knowledge of tape line , loom (woven fabric production), and lamination to pre-empt and manage quality issues affecting pre-finishing. Provide technical input to improve overall FIBC quality from raw fabric to finished goods.

Quality & Food Safety:

Enforce quality checks throughout pre-finishing, especially cleanliness, lamination quality, and spout/corner sealing. Ensure all food safety and hygiene norms (HACCP/BRC/ISO) are followed in accordance with customer standards.

Documentation & Records:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production, quality checks, material movement, and incidents of non-conformance.

Training & Development:

Identify training needs for operators across pre-finishing, including awareness of upstream processes like tape line and loom that impact fabric quality. Conduct or coordinate training sessions related to machine operation, hygiene, safety, and quality systems.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the pre-finishing process to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Liaise with maintenance for preventive & breakdown servicing.

Key Requirements:

Education: Degree in Mechanical / Plastic Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 10+ years in FIBC Industry. Strong practical experience in Tape Line, Loom, and Lamination is mandatory.

Skills:

Deep understanding of FIBC manufacturing flow. Knowledge of food-grade compliance systems (BRC, ISO 22000, HACCP). Strong coordination, leadership, and team management capabilities.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
