The Prayer Tower Manager is responsible for the overall of the Prayer Tower facility. This leader is the chief shepherd on-site, ensuring the ministry's vision is executed effectively, the environment is holy and welcoming, and all staff and resources are managed responsibly.
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities
I. Spiritual Leadership & Ministry Oversight
Ministry Flow:
Ensure the Prayer Tower remains a sanctuary for prayer, counseling, and hope. Oversee the daily schedule of prayer services, intercession, and personal ministry to visitors.
Spiritual Guidance:
Provide biblical guidance, pastoral care, and spiritual oversight to all staff, intercessors, and volunteers.
Intercessory Team Management:
Recruit, train, equip, and shepherd the team of intercessors, volunteers ensuring adherence to the ministry's standards of prayer and conduct.
Outreach & Networking:
Actively build and maintain strong relationships with local churches, community leaders, and ministry partners to expand the Jesus Calls network and outreach.
II. Operational & Administrative Management
Facility Management:
Oversee the physical maintenance, cleanliness, security, and smooth operation of the Prayer Tower facility and its assets.
Financial Integrity:
Ensure accurate and transparent handling of all offerings, donations, and transactions. Oversee local budgeting, expenditures, and compliance with all financial reporting requirements set by the Headquarters.
Staff Management:
Manage scheduling, conduct regular performance reviews, foster a positive and accountable work environment, and address all local HR issues.
Inventory & Resources:
Manage and protect ministry resources, including all print materials, books, and technology within the Prayer Tower.
III. Compliance & Reporting
Policy Enforcement:
Ensure strict adherence to all policies, protocols, and spiritual standards set forth by the Jesus Calls Ministries Headquarters.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on ministry activities, visitor statistics, financial performance, and operational issues to the Regional Head/Headquarters.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
A clear and proven
calling to full-time ministry
with deep spiritual maturity and an active prayer life.
Minimum of [e.g., 5-7] years of experience in
leadership, ministry management, or a relevant professional/secular management role.
Proven ability to
manage teams, resolve conflict, and mentor
spiritual growth in others.
Strong administrative skills, with demonstrated experience in
budgeting, operations, and facility management.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
