Job Description

As a practitioner for an Ayurveda clinic, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality Ayurvedic healthcare treatment to patients (coming to the Ayurveda clinic) and ensuring effective outcomes. You will be located at one of the company’s clinics and treating patients.

We will be starting with treating patients suffering from Osteoarthritis.
    
We expect you to be compassionate, emphatic towards patients, explaining them clearly and focussed towards curing them. 

Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Evaluation:
a. Conduct thorough patient assessments looking at their medical history, doing physical examinations and using Ayurvedic diagnostic techniques.
b. Explain the diagnosis and the required treatment in detail to the patient clearing all their queries, concerns

2. Ayurvedic Treatment:
a. Administer Ayurvedic treatments, therapies, and dietary recommendations ensuring effective outcome
3. Patient Education:
a. Educate patients on Ayurvedic principles, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health measures.
b. Offer guidance on diet, exercise, and stress management in alignment with Ayurvedic practices.

4. Documentation:
a. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up recommendations.
 
5. Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in Ayurvedic practice. Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications:
a. Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree or equivalent from a recognised institution.
b. Valid license to practice Ayurvedic medicine as per medical council.
c. Minimum of 3-4 years of clinical experience as an Ayurvedic physician treating patients suffering from Osteoarthritis. 
d. Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in Ayurvedic treatment modalities
e. Compassion and empathy for patients
f. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
g. Administrative skills and able to lead team of paramedical staff 
h. Fully equipped to perform or supervise Panchakarma therapies
i. Conversant in Hindi, English, Marathi
