Job Description


  • Plan, implement, manage and coordinate the public relations programs in conjunction with the marketing team and senior management.
  • Develop public relations strategies for current and existing products, new launches, and promotions.
  • Plan and budget for PR events, programs and initiatives in line with marketing plans of the company
  • Help in develop relevant promotional collaterals relevant for the PR programs.
  • Create and manage content for PR requirements in line with the larger marketing goals and messaging including media pitch notes, press release, media info dockets etc.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy.
  • Maintain and enhance PR processes within the company for a smooth flow of information.
  • Developing media relations strategies and activities seeking placements in print, broadcast and online/ social media influencers.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within lifestyle, hospitality and relevant industry media.
  • Effectively manage regular media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Involvement in managing crisis communications and media strategy, as needed.
  • Evaluate opportunities for media partnerships, and tie-ups on an on-going basis.
  • Daily brands news monitor and important industry news, analyse PR results on a quarterly basis.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous working experience as Public Relations Specialist for 6-8 years
  • BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism or similar relevant field
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
  • Strong relationships with both local and national lifestyle/ F&B/ hospitality media outlets and a strong understanding of media needs and media relationships
  • Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
  • Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms in relationship to PR activations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A team player
  • Some event planning experience will be desirable especially with regards to fam trips, media activations and promotions
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
  • Available to work nights or weekends if and when required
