: PR & Communication Manager

Purpose: Responsibilities encompass the spectrum of communication activities managed by the Marketing and Corporate Communication team, including building and sustaining Avanse Financial Services\xe2\x80\x99 brand reputation and using insights to drive discussions and communication planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and execution of multi-stakeholder external communication strategies
Engage, build and maintain good relations with the media across levels
Utilise research and develop insight on news pegs that will work from the brand\xe2\x80\x99s perspective
Ensuring a steady pipeline of company news and participation at industry forums, awards and recognition along with credible speaking engagements
Identify themes and information from businesses and industry, and weave it together into a concise and insightful media peg/story idea
Content creation for authored articles, responses to media queries, etc.
Tracking of media coverage

Skills and Qualifications
Work Experience: 1-3 years in PR agency; experience in the BFSI sector would be an added advantage
Good writing & communication skills
Understanding of the media landscape (across TV, print, radio, digital). Conversant with the BFSI PR ecosystem - relationship with journalists in the BFSI space is a must.
Educational Qualifications: Post Grad, preferably in Mass Communication, PR, Journalism or related field.
