Job Summary

The

PPIC Executive

is responsible for

production planning, material availability, inventory control, and coordination

between production, purchase, warehouse, QC, and dispatch to ensure

timely manufacturing and delivery

of nutraceutical and Ayurvedic products as per GMP norms.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning

Prepare

daily, weekly, and monthly production plans

as per sales orders and dispatch commitments Monitor

plan vs actual production

and take corrective actions Ensure

optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources

Inventory & Material Control

Ensure

availability of raw materials, packing materials, and consumables

before production Coordinate with

purchase and warehouse

for timely procurement and issue of materials Maintain

minimum, maximum & reorder levels

of inventory Monitor

slow-moving and non-moving inventory

Inter-Department Coordination

Coordinate with

QA/QC

for release of RM, PM, and finished goods Liaise with

production, maintenance, and dispatch teams

for smooth operations Follow up on

artwork availability and packing material readiness

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain

production plans, BOMs, batch scheduling records, and inventory reports

Update

ERP / Excel trackers

regularly Prepare

daily production status, pending orders, and material shortage reports

Compliance & GMP

Ensure all planning and execution activities comply with

GMP, AYUSH, FSSAI, and internal SOPs

Support audits and inspections related to

production planning and inventory records

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

in Pharmacy / Science / Commerce / Engineering

MBA / PG Diploma in Operations or Supply Chain

(preferred)

Experience

1-2 years

of experience in

PPIC / Production Planning / Inventory Control

Experience in

nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or Ayurvedic manufacturing

preferred

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

production planning & inventory control

Good understanding of

BOM, batch size calculation, and material planning

Proficient in

MS Excel, ERP systems

Excellent

coordination and follow-up skills

Ability to work under

time-bound production pressure

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

On-time production completion Reduction in production delays due to material shortages Inventory accuracy and control Plan vs actual efficiency Coordination effectiveness across departments
