Our Client is a Manufacturer & Exporter of Pharmaceutical Formulations



Job location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai

Timings: 9.30am to 5.30pm

Working days: 2nd & 4th Saturday off

We are looking for :

Assistant Manager PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control)



Job Responsibilities:



1. Production Planning:

Develop and implement production plans to meet the demands of various departments and ensure timely manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. Coordinate with production, quality control, and procurement teams to align production schedules with raw material availability and regulatory requirements. Monitor daily production output and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards. Ensure all production activities are compliant with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
2. Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods, ensuring they are aligned with production schedules and avoid stock-outs or overstocking. Implement efficient inventory control systems to optimize material usage, minimize wastage, and reduce costs. Perform regular inventory audits and work closely with the procurement team to replenish stock.
3. Coordination and Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Purchase, Quality Assurance, Production, and Logistics to ensure smooth production processes. Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding the timely delivery of materials. Provide reports on production and inventory status to senior management. Forecasting and Demand Planning: Assist in forecasting demand based on market trends, sales projections, and historical data to ensure proper material planning and inventory management. Adjust plans based on any changes in demand, sales forecasts, or production issues.
4. Process Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in production planning and inventory control processes. Suggest and implement process optimization to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall productivity.
5. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to the storage and handling of pharmaceutical products. Maintain accurate records of production and inventory activities as per regulatory and quality assurance standards.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:



Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Science. 5-7 years of experience in production planning and inventory control in a pharmaceutical or related industry. Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and supply chain management. Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and MS Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional coordination. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary range: Rs. 10 to 12 Lacs PA Negotiable: Depending upon candidate & experience
