Job Description

Conduct market research to identify reliable PPE vendors that offer latest, newly launched, high-quality, certified products at competitive prices. Evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, and compliance with safety regulations. Procure a wide range of PPE, including but not limited to hard hats, safety goggles, face shields, gloves, respirators, protective clothing, and safety footwear. Collaborate with internal departments, such as Safety, Operations, and Maintenance, to accurately forecast PPE demand and procurement needs. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with vendors to secure favorable deals. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure a resilient supply chain and consistent quality. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and regular performance reviews. Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding deliveries, product quality, or contracts.
