Job Title: Assistant Manager - PPC (Production Planning & Control)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Assistant Manager - PPC to oversee and optimize production planning, scheduling, and inventory management for our automotive manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and experience in aligning production plans with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor production plans to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.

Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless flow of materials and components.

Analyze production capacity, demand forecasts, and inventory levels to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Monitor production schedules and suggest improvements for better efficiency and throughput.

Implement and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for PPC and production operations.

Ensure adherence to production budgets, cost control measures, and quality standards.

Support new product launches by planning capacity, resources, and material requirements.

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of PPC executives/planners.

Prepare reports for management on production status, variances, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related field.

12-14 years of experience in production planning & control, preferably in the automotive manufacturing sector.

Strong knowledge of PPC tools, ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred), and inventory management.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and production optimization.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
