Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in line with customer orders and sales forecasts. Schedule production activities by coordinating with production, purchase, and stores. Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.

Material Planning & Coordination

Coordinate with the purchase and stores team for timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and packaging materials. Monitor stock levels and raise material requisitions as required. Support supply chain for vendor follow-ups to ensure timely material delivery.

Monitoring & Control

Track actual production vs. plan and take corrective actions in case of delays or deviations. Maintain production-related data, reports, and consumption records. Coordinate with quality team to ensure adherence to product standards and specifications.

Reporting & MIS

Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly MIS on production status, material consumption, and order execution. Report any bottlenecks, capacity constraints, or material shortages to management. Support cost control and productivity improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

production planning, scheduling, and material management

. Excellent in Ms word & Excel Hands-on experience with

ERP/SAP

for production and inventory modules. Strong coordination and communication abilities across departments. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification & Experience

B.Tech / BE (Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering) or MBA in Operations. 8 years of experience in

production planning & control

(in manufacturing industry).
