Job Description

We are looking for a

PPC (Production Planning & Control) Manager

with strong expertise in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control. The role involves coordinating with production, purchase, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources, reducing costs, and maintaining high efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement

production plans and schedules

to meet customer requirements and company targets. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective action to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate with

purchase, stores, and production teams

to ensure material availability as per plan. Review

customer orders, forecasts, and sales plans

to prepare capacity and resource planning. Track

WIP (Work in Progress), machine utilization, and manpower deployment

to improve productivity. Analyze deviations between actual production vs. plan and prepare MIS reports. Optimize

inventory levels

to reduce carrying costs without affecting production continuity. Ensure adherence to

quality standards, safety norms, and compliance requirements.

Lead and mentor the PPC team, ensuring timely communication across departments. Support

cost reduction initiatives

by minimizing waste and improving process efficiency.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of

production processes, material planning, and shop floor control.

Hands-on experience with

ERP/MRP systems

for production planning. Excellent skills in

capacity planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.

Good understanding of

lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and lead a team effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in

Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

(preferred). Minimum

5-10 years of experience

in

Production Planning & Control (PPC).

Prior experience in

manufacturing / steel / engineering / automotive industry

preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
