Plan, schedule, and control daily production for wire mesh manufacturing (welded mesh, woven mesh, GI wire, etc.)
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and purchase teams for smooth workflow.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders.
Monitor raw material availability (wire rod, GI wire, SS wire, coating materials).
Track WIP, finished goods inventory, and ensure timely order execution.
Optimize machine utilization for welding lines, weaving looms, drawing machines.
Follow up with stores and vendors for timely supply of materials.
Maintain accurate MIS reports related to production, delays, scrap, and planning.
Ensure quality and delivery timelines are met based on customer requirements.
Coordinate dispatch planning and ensure on-time delivery of finished goods.
Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of production planning & control in a manufacturing setup.
Experience in wire mesh / wire drawing / metal fabrication preferred.
Good understanding of inventory management and material planning.
Ability to read and understand mesh size, gauge, coating specifications.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent order planning.
