Job Title: CNC / VMC Production SupervisorDepartment: ProductionReporting To: Production Manager / Plant HeadJob Summary:

The CNC/VMC Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling daily production activities on CNC and VMC machines. The role ensures production targets, quality standards, safety norms, and machine utilization are achieved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Planning

Plan and monitor daily production schedules for CNC/VMC machines Ensure production targets are achieved as per plan Optimize machine utilization, cycle time, and manpower Coordinate with PPC, stores, and maintenance departments

Machine & Process Control

Supervise CNC/VMC operations including setup, tooling, and changeovers Ensure correct programs, offsets, fixtures, and tooling are used Monitor first-piece approval and in-process inspections Reduce rejections, rework, and machine downtime

Quality Control

Ensure production as per drawing, process sheet, and quality standards Coordinate with Quality department for inspections and audits Analyze rejection reasons and implement corrective actions

Manpower Handling

Allocate operators, setters, and helpers as per skill level Guide and train operators on machine operation and safety Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity of shop-floor staff Conduct daily toolbox talks and shift handovers

Maintenance & Safety

Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance Ensure machines, tools, and measuring instruments are in good condition Enforce safety rules, 5S, and housekeeping on the shop floor

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily production, rejection, and downtime reports Update shift-wise production data and machine logs Communicate issues and improvement suggestions to management
Skills & Requirements:

Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) 3-7 years experience in CNC/VMC production supervision Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machines, tooling, and machining processes Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of ISO / IATF systems is an advantage

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
