Job Description

Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

Develop and implement effective production plans based on demand forecasts, ensuring timely delivery of fasteners to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with various departments to gather information on production capacity, inventory levels, and resource availability.

Scheduling and Coordination:

Create and manage production schedules, ensuring alignment with sales orders and inventory levels. Coordinate with production teams, machine operators, and maintenance staff to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.

Resource Optimization:

Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency. Monitor machine utilization, labor productivity, and raw material consumption to maximize resource utilization.

Inventory Management:

Implement inventory control measures to avoid stockouts and overstock situations. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce lead times.

Quality Control:

Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that fasteners meet quality standards at every stage of the production process. Implement measures to address and rectify any deviations from quality specifications. Production performance, highlighting areas of improvement and success.

Continuous Improvement:

Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance overall production efficiency. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to incorporate into the production planning and control processes.

Communication:

Foster effective communication between production, sales, and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless production process.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in PPC roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the fasteners industry. Strong understanding of production planning and control principles. Proficient in using relevant software for production planning, data analysis, and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Minimum Experience 1 to 2 years
