Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automation scripts using shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Ksh). Automate various IT operations, system administration tasks, and deployment processes. Automate PostgreSQL database activities, including monitoring, maintenance, and reporting. Collaborate with the operations team to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements. Perform thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts to ensure reliability and accuracy. Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and scripts. Implement monitoring and alerting for automated processes to ensure smooth operation. Document automation solutions, including design specifications, usage guides, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation practices and tools. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated processes.
Required Skills

Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Ksh). Experience with PostgreSQL database environments. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience with automation frameworks. Familiarity with IT operations and system administration. * Excellent communication and documentation skills.
