Roles Definition: PowerBI / Tableau Reporting Roles & Responsibilities


5+ years of experience in business intelligence / data analytics


3 4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau, including developing dashboards and reports.


Experience with data preparation, data gateways, and data warehousing projects.


Proven experience working with large and complex datasets in enterprise-scale environments.


Proficiency in Power BI (including Power BI Desktop, DAX queries, and Power Query) and Tableau (including Tableau Desktop and Server).


Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.


Familiarity with Microsoft BI Stack (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS) or other BI tools


Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data architecture (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes)


Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics (preferred but not mandatory)


Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Preferrable experience with cloud-based platforms like Azure or Snowflake for data storage and processing.
