Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Power BI development, coupled with exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and customers. This role demands a proactive individual who can take ownership, build robust solutions, and drive them to completion. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong aptitude for UI/UX design, ensuring that reports are not only informative and professional but also visually appealing and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Power BI Delivery: Oversee the complete Power BI lifecycle, including intake, KPI definition, modeling, dataset/report creation, testing, and rollout of multiple reports.
• Data Model Design: Develop clean dimensional and tabular models, authoring robust and reusable DAX calculations to ensure efficient data processing.
• Admin-Lite Operations: Manage Power BI workspaces, user access, data gateways, and refresh schedules; monitor report refresh performance and usage metrics.
• UI/UX Design: Implement strong UI/UX principles to create informative and visually engaging reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Solution Building using Advanced Concepts: Leverage advanced Power BI features such as Field Parameters, Calculation Groups, Advanced DAX, Incremental Refresh, Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS). Utilize creative approaches with bookmarks and the selection pane, and employ performance optimization techniques to deliver powerful, efficient, and user-friendly reporting solutions that address complex business requirements.
• Power Automate/Power Apps Integration: Streamline workflows related to Power BI reports and create integrated solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Self-Motivated Leadership and Communication: Exhibit strong communication (written/verbal) and stakeholder management skills, complemented by excellent analytical capabilities. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and mentorship for business users and junior developers, while adhering to self-imposed deadlines to ensure timely project completion.
• Familiarity with Fabric (a plus): Experience with building on Lakehouse/Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, OneLake shortcuts, and governance principles is advantageous.
• Immediate Joiners and those who can commit to come to Noida office from 2PM to 11PM.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SQL, databases, and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
• Power BI and Fabric certification such as PL-300 and DP-600 is preferred.
