Job Responsibilities:

Understand relay test equipment, relay testing software, and proper protection relay testing. Analyze client requirements and propose suitable solutions. Contribute to product specifications, application software, and technical literature. Engage with customers to comprehend product needs and demonstrate existing software solutions. Provide technical support via phone, on-site visits, and hands-on training for relay protection products. Participate in marketing activities, industry events, and conferences. Author white papers and technical articles to establish Megger as a relay protection expert. Collaborate on new product development and strategies. Deliver presentations on theoretical topics and case studies. Troubleshoot technical issues for customers and sales support. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

BE, ME Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Engineer must have 3 Years or above years of experience in power systems, especially in the fields of power system protection and high voltage apparatus, as well as knowledge of power system substations & automation, generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power with Protective Relays and Protective Relay Test Equipment. Hands on experience of configuration & testing of various type of Numerical IED's (SIEMENS, ABB, GE, Schneider Electric ,NR,ZIV) Understanding of Power system protection philosophy & their application. Working experience of integration of Numerical IED's with Substation Automation system is the added advantage. Demonstrates composure and professionalism even in challenging situations. Understands client requirements and technical specifications. Basic knowledge of digital substation techniques. Familiarity with IEC and ANSI standards for protection. Knowledge of primary and secondary injection and circuit breaker testing. Experience with IEC61850 in relaying applications. Basic knowledge of Digital substation techniques and IEC /ANSI standards for protection This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites (approximately 40%) Excellent written and verbal communication skills 2 years of sales or commercial experience in the field of power systems is an added advantage. Excellent analytical and logical interpretation skills Basic concepts of Primary and secondary injection and Circuit Breaker testing * Experience with IEC61850 in relaying applications.
