Purpose of the Job

Power Supply Design Leader is responsible to Deploy and lead Power supply schematic design and UPS/IPS rating caliculations in Signalling projects. Should be able to lialise technically with Vendors and Customers.. Responsible for the management and succesful completion of all the activities related to Power supply design

What are my Responsibilities?

• Develop solutions to complex problems requiring innovation and creativitiy
• Provide technical guidance to individuals or teams in solving problems. Mentor those less experienced in the department
• Lead or participate in technical discussions directly with customer and represent / protect the company\'s interest
• Keep abreast of technologies used by the company & industry and remain current & prepared for technology chances withitn the work environment
• Have Systems thinking \xe2\x80\x93 3 views system engineering (functional, architectural and operational)
• Act in line to achieve Project Key Performance Indicators
• Provide suggestions to Department Head about improvements in process by applying new techniques

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• This role is expected to build effective working relationships across a diverse project team, Adapt quickly, Lead an activity, check consistency before delivering, and able to establish simple communication on complex topics.

Minimum qualification

• B.E / B. Tech or Diploma with 8+ year of Power Supply design experience
• Proficient in English Language and MS office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience in UPS/IPS & Battery rating caliculations preferable
• Atleast 8 years of Industry experience
• Should be capable of communicating effectively with International Clients.
• Should have prior experience in drawing tools such as ACAD; MICROSTATION
• Site experience is preferred; Experience on factory production of cubicles is an added advantage
• Circuit design experience, Knowledge of equipment power rating DC/AC, efficiency & Power factor, operational analysis, product specifications and operating procedures.
• Process advance working knowledge in following areas:
• Single line diagram
• 4 wire diagram for three phase \\detail Design for electrical circuit
• Circuit breaker, Transformer rating, Heating caliculations
• Cable selection and Design
• Electrical Standard and Norms
• Significant experience in delivery of design, analysis, development, testing and delivery. Has good awareness of industry norms and standards EN51028, 50129, 50126 etc
• Management skills
