Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Power Press Operator with strong knowledge of tool & die setup and sheet metal stamping operations. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, handle power presses safely, and ensure high-quality output with proper tool adjustment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate power press machines safely and efficiently

Perform tool & die setup, alignment, and adjustments

Handle sheet metal stamping operations such as blanking, piercing, and forming

Ensure production targets are met with required quality standards

Maintain daily production reports, tool change logs, and machine checklists

Monitor machine performance and report issues to maintenance

Follow all safety procedures and shop-floor guidelines

Ensure proper material identification and handling

Required Skills & Experience

1-5 years of experience as a Power Press Operator

Good knowledge of tool & die setup

Hands-on experience in press operations (blanking, piercing, forming)

Ability to operate pneumatic and mechanical power presses

Basic understanding of quality checks and documentation

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities & Accountability

Overall responsibility for press shop production

Ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality output

Support tool preventive maintenance (PM) activities

Responsible for tool care and basic maintenance

Qualification

10th / 12th Pass / ITI (Fitter / Tool & Die / Press Operator preferred)
