Bachelor/ Diploma degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.
20 - 22 years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
Strong knowledge of turbines, boilers, generators, and control systems.
Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory compliance, and energy management.
1. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Plant Operations
Ensure uninterrupted power generation with optimal efficiency and minimal downtime.
Monitor daily operational activities and resolve technical issues.
Review and approve operational logs, performance reports, and KPIs.
B. Maintenance & Reliability
Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
Coordinate major shutdowns, overhauls, and inspections.
Ensure availability of critical spares and equipment reliability.
C. Safety, Compliance & Environmental Standards
Enforce all safety protocols, statutory requirements, and regulatory compliances.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training.
Ensure adherence to environmental norms and emission standards.
D. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary technical team.
Conduct performance evaluations, training, and skill development programs.
Maintain discipline, teamwork, and high morale in the plant.
E. Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare and manage the annual operational and maintenance budget.
Optimize resource usage and reduce operational costs.
Approve procurement of materials and services.
F. Strategic Planning & Improvements
Implement new technologies, automation, and process improvements.
Analyze plant performance data and implement efficiency enhancement measures.
Drive long-term reliability and capacity expansion plans.
