Assago Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Boiler & Turbine Operations Manager with strong expertise in grain-based distillery operations, particularly involving travelling grate-type boilers and back-pressure turbines. The ideal candidate will oversee smooth plant operations, ensure safety compliance, and maintain optimal performance of boiler and turbine systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the travelling grate boiler and back-pressure turbine systems.
Ensure efficient steam generation, power production, and energy utilization across the plant.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize boiler and turbine performance to meet production targets.
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all related equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
Lead and guide the operations team, providing technical support and training.
Maintain records, logbooks, and operational reports for audits and internal review.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and utility teams for smooth plant functioning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
BOE certifications.
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
10-15 years of relevant experience in a grain-based distillery is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with:
Travelling grate-type boilers
Back-pressure turbines
Strong knowledge of utility systems, energy management, and statutory guidelines.
Ability to lead operational teams and handle shift operations.
