Partner the Business Unit Head in the formulation and implementation of business specific HR interventions
Monitor developments in the industry to identify emerging talent related trends and communicate to the Head - HR & Administration and Business Unit Head
Provide advice to the Business Unit Head on domestic and global trends in effective people management for decision making
Financial
Support HR budgeting process by providing inputs on various employee related expenses for the respective business units to serve as an input to the AOP (annual operating plan)
Drive and manage all HR related activities for the business unit
Manage recruitment for the business unit based on approval of manpower requisition; make decisions on hiring external consultants for search purposes based on criticality of position or specific expertise required Shortlist applications based on position requirements and job specifications and schedule interviews with the hiring manager and Business Unit Head
Manage all joining formalities including ERP related updating of new employee data; conduct induction as per defined process
Coordinate and organize training programs at the Business Unit level based on identified training needs and finalization of training plan with Business Unit Head; measure and monitor training effectiveness
Drive implementation of the performance management system with clearly defined responsibilities, timelines, accurate metrics and monitoring mechanisms, to effectively review and reward performance
Provide guidance to employees in defining performance metrics i.e. KRAs and KPIs
Ensure adherence to performance management timelines through periodic reminders and communication
Facilitate performance review committee meetings for moderation of performance ratings and take final decision on rewards, performance incentives, promotions, counseling, recognition, etc
Maintain employee records and update the same regularly
Oversee the processing of reimbursement claims, benefits, loans and advances administration, and salary related updating in line with company policy
Ensure effective management of HR related information through an HRIS (HR Information System)
Develop regular MIS reports related to HR activities in the respective business unit
Manage formal and informal HR related communications
Ensure effective communication of and adherence to HR policies, practices and activities in the respective business unit
Monitor day to day HR operations in the business unit to ensure process efficiency and adherence to defined timelines
Conduct periodic HR audits in the respective business unit to identify HR issues and take appropriate actions to address the same
Develop and secure approval for the comprehensive HR Interventions ensuring alignment with strategic growth objectives
