We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to design, develop, test, and optimize power conversion systems for industrial, energy, and advanced technology applications. The role involves working on power electronic converters, control systems, and embedded hardware to deliver efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop power electronic converters such as DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC, and AC-AC systems
Select and validate power semiconductor devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC, GaN)
Design gate driver circuits, protection circuits, and thermal management systems
Develop control algorithms for converters (PWM, current/voltage control, MPPT, etc.)
Perform circuit simulation using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice, or PSIM
Build, test, and debug power electronics prototypes
Conduct efficiency, thermal, EMI/EMC, and reliability testing
Work closely with mechanical, embedded, and system engineers
Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and design files
Support scale-up, manufacturing, and field deployment activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Power Electronics Engineering
Strong fundamentals in:
Power electronics
Control systems
Electrical machines (preferred)
Hands-on experience with:
Power converter hardware
Oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and measurement tools
Knowledge of PCB design, layout best practices, and thermal design
Familiarity with embedded controllers
