1 6~8 years of experience in validating Power Electronics products and working with design team Mandatory 6 - 8


2 Create complex test methods and procedures to evaluate power electronic products. Need to drive entire DVT activity in a project Mandatory 6 - 8

3 Essential Functions of DVT engineer

(a) To Create test plan.


(b) Estimation of the test time. Determines test requirements for each design element's


(c) To create testing procedure & set

(d) To coordinate new/external test plan generation


(e)To Perform, review the test and verify performance as per the specification, implicit industry standards, and customer's design standards tests.

(f) To Design and fabricate the test fixtures to suit test methods.

(g) To debug , find root cause & provide input to Design team . To support/analyze/simulate quality issues


(h) Interact and coordinate, share the efforts with in the Project team


(i) Document and present and manage all the communications associated with in the scope of his responsibility

4 Knowledge of test equipment, CRO, AC Source, DC Source, Auto transformers, Multimeters, Data loggers Mandatory 6 - 8

5 Good understanding of power electronic equipment Mandatory 6 - 8

6 Good understanding of analog and digital circuits, power electronics circuits Mandatory 6 - 8

7 Secondary Functions:


To Plan, identify, and procure the test equipment as per the test requirement


To support new lab setup & maintain verification test racks Preferred


8 Having good knowledge of mechanical test such as vibration test and drop tests Preferred


9 Capable of running independent tests Preferred


10 Exposure to EMI testing and Test labs Preferred


11 Exposure to safety testing equipment Preferred


12 Good communication & presentation skills, Good command to MS office packages Preferred
