Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging

Power BI & Business Analytics Trainer

to train

BBA and BCom students

in essential analytical tools and concepts. The trainer will deliver hands-on sessions, create practical learning materials, and guide students in developing industry-ready skills in data analysis, visualization, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver classroom and/or online training sessions on

Power BI, Business Analytics, and Excel-based analytics

. Teach students how to work with business datasets (Finance, Marketing, HR, Retail, etc.) and interpret data for decision-making. Develop course materials including presentations, assignments, quizzes, and real-world case studies. Guide students in creating

Power BI dashboards

, DAX calculations, and data models. Provide individualized support and feedback to ensure students understand the concepts. Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and prepare progress reports. Mentor students on

mini-projects and capstone projects

aligned with industry standards. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant tools and examples into lessons. Collaborate with academic coordinators to improve curriculum and learning outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Business Analytics, Data Science, IT, or related field. Strong proficiency in

Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Data Modeling, Visualization)

. Good knowledge of

Business Analytics, Excel, and basic statistics

. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach non-technical students. Prior teaching or corporate training experience is preferred (but not mandatory). Ability to simplify complex concepts for BBA and BCom students.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in Power BI, Data Analytics, or related domains. Experience working on business analytics projects in Finance/Marketing/Operations. Familiarity with SQL or Python (added advantage).
