Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

Translate business needs into technical specifications.

Design, build, and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools) for clinical, operational, and financial analytics. Develop interactive and scalable data visualizations for executives, clinical, and operational stakeholders. Optimize DAX expressions, Power Query, and data models for high-performance reporting. Ensure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Row-Level Security for data governance. Integrate Power BI with SQL databases, cloud data lakes (AWS/Azure), and REST APIs. Maintain and support data analytics platforms. Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems. Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses. Create visualizations and reports for requested projects. Evaluate and improve existing BI systems. Develop and update technical documentation

Work Experience

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Power BI development, including report creation, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.

Strong knowledge of Power BI service.

Strong hands-on on RLS

Expertise in SQL, database modeling, and ETL pipelines. Experience with database management and data manipulation. In-depth understanding of ETL frameworks. Experience integrating with cloud-based platforms (preferably Azure). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to data visualization and automation. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining. Strong experience in cloud/on-prem data warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Teradata, and Databricks. Excellent communication skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Power Automate for advanced schedule/analytics pipeline automation. Familiarity with AI/ML deployment in Power BI. Microsoft Power BI Certification. Knowledge of Python. * Knowledge of the healthcare domain and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
