Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Junior Power BI Developer with a basic understanding of data visualization and reporting using Microsoft Power BI. The role will primarily focus on creating visually appealing dashboards and reports based on predefined data models and business logic provided by the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using existing datasets and defined logic. Convert given business requirements and data logic into clear, user-friendly visualizations. Apply Power BI visualization best practices to ensure clarity, consistency, and usability. Use Power Query for basic data cleaning and preparation as required. Connect Power BI reports to provided data sources such as Excel, SQL Server, or other systems. Perform basic DAX usage for calculated fields and measures as per shared guidelines. Support report testing, validation, and periodic refreshes. Assist in troubleshooting visualization or data display issues in reports. Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to refine report layouts and insights.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. 1- 2 years of experience in Power BI or data visualization roles (freshers with relevant skills may apply). Basic knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design. Familiarity with Power Query and basic DAX concepts. Ability to follow defined data logic and reporting structures. Good attention to detail and willingness to learn. Clear communication and documentation skills.
