Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports focused on real estate KPIs: leasing, occupancy, rent collections, maintenance, financials, etc.
Work with data from Yardi Voyager, Excel, SQL databases, and other data sources to build meaningful insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (leasing, finance, operations) to gather requirements and define key performance indicators.
Create data models using Power Query, DAX, and SQL ensuring performance optimization and reusability.
Translate business needs into intuitive visualizations and data storytelling formats to support strategic initiatives.
Partner with our data engineering and automation teams to streamline reporting processes.
Provide end-user training, documentation, and support as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
4-5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
Strong understanding of property management and real estate data, preferably with Yardi or MRI platforms. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling.
Ability to build advanced dashboards and present insights in a business friendly format.
Solid understanding of KPIs like unit occupancy/vacancy, rent roll, lease expiries, tenant retention, work order trends, etc.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Yardi Voyager schema and reporting layer. Familiarity with Azure services, Power Automate, or related tools. Microsoft Power BI certification or equivalent is a plus.
