About the Role

We are seeking a talented

Power BI Developer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building

Power BI dashboards

, working with

semantic data models

, and handling

SQL-based data operations

. This role requires collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

Power BI dashboards

and reports. Build and manage

semantic models

for efficient data representation. Create and optimize

SQL Views

,

Stored Procedures

, and manage

ETL processes

for data integration. Collaborate with stakeholders to

gather requirements

and deliver accurate, insightful reports. Prepare and maintain

technical documentation

for BI solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making. Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and security compliance in reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1-5 years

of experience in

Power BI development

(data modelling, DAX, Power Query). Strong proficiency in

SQL

for creating and managing complex queries, views, and stored procedures. Experience with

ETL processes

and data integration techniques. Basic knowledge of

AWS

and

Azure

cloud platforms. Familiarity with

Qlik Sense

(added advantage). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Good at

requirement gathering

and

technical documentation

Preferred Certifications

Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent). Any cloud-related certification (AWS/Azure fundamentals).

Soft Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
