We are looking for an individual who has experience in maintain, support & develop Power BI capability with a principal focus on the reporting platform as well as operating as a Consultant within the Environmental reporting team. As an individual you should focus on converting business and client reporting requirements into user friendly, storytelling reports & dashboards. Connecting to various databases like SQL& Access, SharePoint, Excel and other data sources. Should have experience in end-to-end development in PowerBI.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to shape CYIENT approach to Power BI and its integration within our services. Our business strategy plans for this area to evolve into a significant component of our business. Has a number of duties to perform and that require extensive knowledge and expertise in business intelligence, databases, and especially, technical aspects of PowerBI.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Should possess very good communication skills, must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish.
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Expert in ETL using Power Query.
• Expert in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
• Knowledge in M language is an added advantage.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
• Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
• Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
• Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
