Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development & Visualization

Design, develop, and deploy

interactive Power BI reports and dashboards

that meet business and analytical needs. Build complex

data models in Power BI

, integrating multiple data sources (SQL, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, APIs). Write and optimize

advanced DAX expressions

for measures, KPIs, and calculated columns. Create dynamic and responsive

visualizations, bookmarks, tooltips, drill-throughs, and report-level navigation

Data Modeling & Architecture

Design

semantic data models

(star/snowflake schema) optimized for Power BI performance and usability. Collaborate with

data engineers and modelers

to ensure efficient data pipelines feeding into Power BI datasets. Implement

Row-Level Security (RLS)

, data refresh strategies, and performance optimization techniques. Leverage

for data transformation and cleansing.

Governance, Standards & Automation

Implement

Power BI governance best practices
