About the Role

We are looking for a

Power BI Developer cum Data Engineer

who can work across reporting and data preparation. The ideal candidate should be strong in

Power BI

, have working knowledge of

Python

, and understand

data pipeline concepts

in Azure.
Exposure to

AI features in Power BI

and

Bronze-Silver-Gold data architecture

will be an added advantage. You'll be responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing enterprise-level data and analytics solutions that empower decision-making and business automation.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

Design, develop, and maintain

interactive dashboards and reports

using

Power BI

, to deliver actionable insights. Build and customize

Power Apps

and

Power Automate

workflows to digitize and streamline business operations. Use Power Query (M) for data cleaning and transformations. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate them into technical deliverables. Ensure

data quality, governance, and security compliance

across all analytics platforms. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data flows, refresh schedules, and query performance. Contribute to the

data visualization strategy

by evaluating and implementing the right tools for each use case. Implement row-level security, data model optimization, and incremental refresh. Use Power BI AI visuals like key influencers, anomaly detection, Q&A, etc.

Data Engineering Responsibilities

Work on ETL/ELT pipelines using

Azure Data Factory

or

basic Databricks/PySpark

. Develop robust

ETL/ELT pipelines

leveraging

Azure Data Factory

,

Databricks

, and

Airflow

. Implement and maintain

data lakes, warehouses, and semantic models

within

Azure

environments. Write

Python scripts

for data cleaning, file processing, basic automation, or API ingestion. Understand and support

stages of the data pipeline. Handle structured/unstructured data from different sources.

General Responsibilities & Preferred Skills

Collaborate with business teams on KPIs and reporting needs. Ensure data quality, documentation, and timely refresh of datasets. Support performance troubleshooting of reports and pipelines. Familiarity with

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience
