Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modeling, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective data visualizations and insights.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
Create and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop and SQL.
Write complex DAX measures and calculated columns to support analytical needs.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization in reporting solutions.
Integrate Power BI with different data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud services (Azure, etc.).
Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage user access for secure data sharing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders.
Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of reports and dashboards.
Stay updated with new features in Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform.

Work Experience
Required Skills & Experience
2-5 years of experience in Power BI development and dashboard/report design.
Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query (M language).
Experience with data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema) and ETL concepts.
Proficiency in SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, performance optimization).
Hands-on experience with Power BI Service: publishing, workspaces, gateways, and apps.
Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI administration.
Understanding of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
