Must have: Experience on handling huge data of 50 GB or greater. Experience in Power BI Data modelling Star Schema, Snowflake Schema. Compression techniques for Power BI Data modelling. Power BI Best Practices for Performance handling. Good Exposure on additional tools like DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, ALM toolkit. Good Hands-on Experience on DAX functions and M query language for transformations in Power BI. 2-4 years of Expertise in Data Modelling in Power BI. Job Requirements: Expertise in handling huge volume of data. Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence. Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports. Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI. Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Willing to work in EU shift (1pm - 10pm IST). Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set. Ability to gather and develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse objects. Good To Have: Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis. Good To Have: Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, R, Oracle data warehouse etc. Good To Have: Building Analysis Services reporting models. Responsible for design methodology and project documentation. Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements. Experience in developing custom visuals for Power BI. Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based and on-premises technologies. Providing technical support and troubleshooting issues as needed. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
