Amrita School of Business (ASB), Bangalore invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic research team working at the intersection of sustainability, circular economy, and supply chain management.



This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in data-driven decision-making, digital twins, and sustainable operations, with real-world impact across industrial sectors.



Key Responsibilities



Conduct and lead high-impact research on sustainability and circular economy in global supply chains.



Develop data exchange frameworks and sustainability metrics for sectors such as automotive, packaging, and renewable energy.



Apply and advance methodologies such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA).



Design and implement Decision Support Systems (DSS) and contribute to the development of digital twin models for real-time sustainability optimization.



Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to grant writing, publications, and industrial partnerships.



Requirements



PhD in Operations Management, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.



At least one publication in an A-ranked ABDC journal (or equivalent high-impact outlet).



Strong expertise in data management and computational tools such as Python, MATLAB, GAMS, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), MCDA, and Multi-Objective Optimization (MOO).



Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to conduct independent and collaborative research.
