This role is crucial for ensuring client satisfaction, driving customer retention, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling travel services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the travel industry and a proven ability to build strong, long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of US-based clients. Proactively engage with clients to understand their evolving travel needs and ensure their satisfaction with our services.
Account Retention and Growth:
Monitor client accounts to identify and address any issues that may lead to churn. Actively look for and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional travel products and services.
Operational Support:
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from the sales cycle to ongoing client management. Address and resolve client inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed about travel trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the US market to better serve clients and inform product development.
Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and account activities in the CRM. Provide regular reports on client health, revenue growth, and retention metrics to management.
Qualifications
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in a post-sales, account management, or customer success role, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
Market Knowledge:
A solid understanding of the US travel market, including corporate travel policies, leisure travel preferences, and key destinations.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and travel booking systems (GDS) is a plus.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
