Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Chemistry to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching senior secondary students (Classes XI and XII), fostering conceptual understanding, and preparing students for board and competitive examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in line with the CBSE curriculum for Classes XI and XII. Explain complex chemical concepts in a clear and effective manner. Conduct practical laboratory sessions and ensure adherence to safety standards. Assess, evaluate, and record student progress through tests, assignments, and presentations. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students for academic improvement. Guide students in projects, experiments, and subject-related activities. Maintain discipline and manage classroom activities effectively. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and progress. Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and advancements in Chemistry education. Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Master's degree in Chemistry with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification. Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level in CBSE schools. Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory experience. Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills. Familiarity with CBSE exam patterns and assessment methods. Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods. Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

About the Institution:

PSG Public Schools is a co-educational high school located on the Avinashi Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, India. The school was founded in 2002. The senior school was inaugurated in 2009. It educates students from Pre-KG to the 12th Grade. PSG Public School teaches to the Central Board of Secondary Education.
