Job Description
Applications are invited for Post Doctoral Positions at the Biosensor Research Lab, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, to develop affordable diagnostic devices. The candidates are expected to be self-motivated with experience in the areas of biosensors, paper-based diagnostic devices, lab-on-a-chip devices, microfluidics, energy storage devices, or microelectronics. Projects in our lab are multidisciplinary, therefore we welcome applications from diverse backgrounds like chemistry, physics, materials science, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering and electronics engineering. Applicants are expected to have hands-on experience and strong knowledge of fundamentals, in addition to high-impact journal publications/patents. The thrust areas of research are following, Development of new/novel materials for sensing Fabrication and testing of electrochemical Biosensors Development of Microfluidic platforms and integration with sensors to develop Lab-on-a-chip devices Development of paper-based analytical devices Fabrication and testing of Organ-on-a-chip devices For more details, visit
