Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Creative Director with a proven track record in the e-commerce and B2C space to lead our creative strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with direct-to-consumer brands, particularly in the health, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle sectors, and understands the nuances of digital-first brand building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCreative Strategy & Vision

Develop and execute comprehensive creative strategies aligned with business objectives and brand positioning Lead the conceptualization and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms Establish creative guidelines, brand standards, and design systems for consistent brand experience Drive innovation in creative approaches to enhance customer engagement and conversion
Team Leadership & Management

Lead and mentor a team of designers, content creators, and creative professionals Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and e-commerce teams Manage creative workflows, timelines, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects Foster a collaborative and innovative creative culture within the organization
E-commerce & Digital Expertise

Create compelling visual content for e-commerce platforms (website, product pages, marketplace listings) Design high-converting marketing assets for digital advertising campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Google, Amazon) Develop creative assets for email marketing, social media, and performance marketing campaigns Optimize creative content based on performance data and customer insights
Brand & Campaign Development

Oversee brand identity evolution and maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints Develop creative concepts for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities Create packaging designs, product photography art direction, and lifestyle content Manage relationships with external agencies, photographers, and creative vendors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience

10+ years of creative leadership experience

in e-commerce or D2C brands

Proven track record with B2C brands

in sectors such as personal care, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle

Experience working with brands similar to Mamaearth, Minimalist, The Derma Co, Plum Goodness, Sugar Cosmetics, or similar D2C companies

Strong portfolio demonstrating successful e-commerce creative campaigns and brand building
Skills & Expertise

Expertise in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch) Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, etc.) Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content optimization Understanding of conversion rate optimization and user experience principles Experience managing creative budgets and timelines
Leadership & Communication

Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams Excellent presentation and communication skills Strong project management and organizational abilities Ability to balance creative vision with business objectives and constraints
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience with brands like Mother Sparsh, Minimalist, Mamaearth, The Derma Co, or similar D2C companies

Experience in the health, wellness, personal care, or beauty industry Knowledge of marketplace dynamics (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa) Experience with video content creation and social media storytelling Understanding of influencer marketing and content partnerships Familiarity with growth marketing strategies and customer acquisition Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
